Hello! I’m Amber Palmer, certified wedding and event specialist and picnic stylist! I plan, coordinate, and style events in Hartwell and the surrounding areas. It’s safe to say my love for planning events began 12 or more years ago with our schools parent teacher organization. From planning teacher meal celebrations to spring carnivals I found a true passion! Now, I did not wake up and just decide to start a business after PTO but I did begin planning events for our local youth. Being a single mom at the time and working two jobs was tough! I was offered a position as a Director of Sales for a local hotel and event center ( praise only one job)! Fast forward a few years and I meet the Love of my Life! Insert all the good stuff, flowers, hearts… yes, he put a ring on it!!!! Through his love and support I was able to pursue my dream of owning my own event planning company and then the world decided to take a turn. During Covid and trying to plan my own wedding, I created Designer Girl Event Styling, becoming Hartwells first upscale picnic and event planning service giving our community something fun, exciting and romantic during the roughest time in people’s lives. I wanted to bring something unique and fun while keeping everyone feeling safe. That’s where the picnics really began. I love creating unforgettable moments and make it a goal to design a stunning picnic, wedding or event that is a true reflection of you!
